The Office of Victim Services provides essential, victim-related services including: explanation of inmate release dates and release type; restitution information; awareness training for criminal justice and other victim service professionals; referrals and victims’ rights services.

The Kentucky State Police is now providing the Sex/Criminal Offender Registry online. The intent of registry is public safety and awareness. The database is made available to alert possible victims of potential danger, not to punish or embarrass offenders.
